I see you standing on the

edge of insanity.

You watch the ground

beneath your toes;

You hardly even seem to breath.

You’re mesmerized by the

falling stones

And the cliff that lies

at your feet.

Yet wings rise from your back;

if you knew it,

You could fly;

High above the rocks below,

and never fear the falling.

Somehow, I think,

if I pushed you from

the ledge where you waver,

Your wings would spread,

and you would soar,

and your fears would fade

in the wind.
